Located at the crossroads of the main communication axes between Northern and Southern Europe, but also between Western Europe and Eastern countries, the Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region is endowed with high quality transport infrastructures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the very tight motorway network (Alpine highway, South of France highway, Paris-Rhine-Rhone highway) and the 1,100 km of highways in the region, Lyon is located, by car, 1.5 hours from Geneva, 3 hours from Turin, 4 hours from Paris, 5 hours from Barcelona.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From SNCF Lyon Perrache railway station<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Follow the Metro – Tramway signs. There are three possibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Take the T1 tramway towards IUT Feyssine and get off at Rue de l’Universit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will take 10 to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From SNCF Lyon Part-Dieu railway station<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the \u00ab\u00a0Vivier Merle\u00a0\u00bb exit and take the metro B, direction \u00ab\u00a0Saint-Genis-Laval H\u00f4pital Lyon Sud\u00a0\u00bb. Then get off at Saxe Gambetta station, follow the line D in the direction of \u00ab\u00a0Gare de Vaise. G.Collomb\u00a0\u00bb. Get off at Guilloti\u00e8re, get out of the metro and take the T1 tramway in the direction of \u00ab\u00a0Debourg\u00a0\u00bb. Get off at \u00ab\u00a0Rue de l’Universit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. The University is in front of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will take around 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From Lyon Saint Exup\u00e9ry airport<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Take the Rhonexpress streetcar that links the airport to the center of Lyon (every 15 minutes)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One way : 15,20 \u20ac \/ Return trip : 26,70 \u20ac – 30 minutes travel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bicycle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You can also rent a \u00ab\u00a0V\u00e9loV\u00a0\u00bb (https:\/\/velov.grandlyon.com\/en\/home)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will find many V\u00e9lov stations in downtown Lyon. A terminal allows you to buy a [short-term] card for 1.80 \u20ac and valid for 24 hours. The rental is free for the first half hour and charged after that. You can use them easily in the city center, between Part Dieu, Perrache and the Presqu’\u00eele and the Universit\u00e9 Lumi\u00e8re Lyon 2 for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearby stations: \u00ab\u00a0Universit\u00e9s Claude Bernard\u00a0\u00bb on quai Claude Bernard; \u00ab\u00a0Marseille \/ Universit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb at the corner of rue de l’universit\u00e9 and rue de Marseille.<\/p>\n\n\n

By car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The University Lyon 2 (Campus des Berges du Rh\u00f4ne) is located in the city center (in the 7th district in the faculties area), it is very well indicated and accessible but it is difficult to park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Berthelot parking lot (99 rue de Marseille) is located near the Campus Berges du Rh\u00f4ne.<\/p>\n\n\n

On foot<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The University is also easily accessible on foot, for example by walking along the redeveloped banks of the Rh\u00f4ne river. You can walk to the University from the exit of the Perrache railway station: follow the tramway route and cross the Rh\u00f4ne.
