I.S.Rivers 2025 welcomed seven guest speakers at the two plenary conferences: Andrea Goltara, Futoshi Nakamura, Gabrielle Bouleau, Christiane Zarfl, Atle Harby, Darío Salinas Palacios, and Etienne Davodeau.
The I.S.Rivers international conference focuses on research and actions in the service of rivers and large rivers, whether natural or highly anthropized. It aims to promote a cross-fertilization of approaches and a dialogue between all stakeholders.
English and French are the two official languages of the event.
I.S.Rivers, a unique occasion in Europe to:
• Provide an overview of worldwide river management and restoration practices
• Discover the most recent developments regarding knowledge, methodology and decision support tools, integrating research results, for a sustainable management of rivers.
